Hope Alliance Liberia (HAL) established relationships with other organizations and governmental agencies in 2016. HAL benefitted from these relationships and they are anticipated to continue going forward.

Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS)

A donation of office materials and toiletries was received in 2016 from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) with support from UNICEF. The Donation included buckets, cups, tissues and barrels which were distributed to regional offices. This was in recognition of the fact that HAL is officially listed on the records of the Ministry as a youth-oriented NGO. HAL also attends the Ministry’s monthly Youth Sector Coordination Meetings to report on its activities and vision.

SEARCH

Special Emergency Activities to Restore Children (SEARCH) responded to HAL request from assistance in 2016 with a donation of four cartoons of A-4 papers. This was also the result of the institutional relationship between the two organizations. These papers were used to print more training materials for the student clubs while the remaining ones were used in HAL three offices.

Mercy Corps

Mercy Corps has a cadet program for young people. In 2016, HAL requested for five interns and they were recruited competitively in Buchanan City. After the process, three interns were assigned to work with HAL’s Grand Bassa team and are still working up to now in Buchanan. HAL kept the interns after the completion of their assignment period, 3 months.

National Elections Commission (NEC)

The National Election Commission (NEC) accredited HAL in 2016 to carry out projects related the 2017 national elections. With this certificate, the Organization can conduct awareness and observation activities related to the elections. Not every organization that applied received this accreditation certificate.

More Than Auburn (MTA)

More Than Auburn is a service group located in Auburn University, Alabama, United States dedicated to raising awareness, providing advocacy and support for the work of global NGOs. Dr. Kelly Krawczyk is the champion in this partnership. This partnership has benefited HAL through cash and non-cash donations and training which have helped to build our capacity.

Accountability Lab Liberia (ALL)

Hope Alliance and Accountability Lab have built strong partnership as institutions since 2015. We have collaborated in making the Integrity Idol Liberia program successful and more program collaborations are expected going forward. Integrity Idol seeks to identify civil servants with integrity for recognition.

National Service Learning Institute (NSLI)

We have partnered on several events including youth conferences and sports. NSLI remains one of our dependable partner institutions for years. There is no doubt that this collaboration will continue.
